I was sitting on the couch reading when Maddie ran over and asked me if I wanted to play a board game with her. Like the mean big sister that I am I told her that I just started reading and maybe we could play later. She begged and pleaded for a while but I was at a really exciting part in my book and I cruelly brushed her aside (can I be blamed? Book lovers, help me out!) Maddie, the sweet thing that she is, jokingly said, "Fine. I'll play with Charlie then." (the new cat).
When I looked up from my book a few minutes later, this is what I saw:

A nice rousing game of cat mancala, anyone? It was so funny I had to get my camera. And don't worry - I did play mancala with her after I took the pictures!

All she had to do was call Rebecca! She'll play anything, anytime, anywhere, with anyone! And have a lot of fun doing it! (You mean big sister.)
chhuchi !!!
Ok, may I just point out that I DID play a game with her after I took the picture? Geez.. :)
Cute pictures...and you did play after all!
Hmm... the cat actually looked interested in those pictures too! How did she manage that?!
As a fellow lover of books, I do feel your pain... :) What book? ;)
The funny thing was that the cat WAS interested in the game. He sat there and watched Maddie move and then he tried to move by batting the pieces around. The book was the Far Pavilions. Definitely a good read :)
So, um who won? Charlie?
This is a question for Anil.
What does chhuchi mean? (I suppose I could just ask Amy.... but oh well.)
In reference to Allyson's question - nobody won. Unfortunately, Maddie got frustrated with Charlie because he was batting the pieces around.
No more bored Maddie! No more bored Charlie! What more could one ask for!?
