Yes, this is my cute little baby boy. He is so happy these days, even though he is teething. Sure, he used to sleep through the night and now he has trouble getting to sleep, but he's usually happy about it! He loves playing with his toys and being around people. However, for the last few weeks we have been going through the rough stage of getting teeth.
With the teething stage also came the biting.
Amulek bites me every time he nurses now, once so hard that I bled. I really don't want to start giving him a bottle and I personally feel that he is too young to ween. Any suggestions? What do I do?

I have had this problem too. Emma got teeth at two months and so she started biting early. What I did when she bit me was I just took her off the boob right when she did it and I wouldn't let her nurse for a few minutes. If she did it again. I would gently smack her mouth...not hit just a tap and say no. Usually when you pull off quickly and tap them it startles them. They get the idea quickly enough. Good luck.
The hard under-the-chin flick doesn't work??? Worked on every one of you!
I agree with your mom! worked on both my kids. I only had to flick them once! Did you try it? I flicked mine in the cheek I think?
by 6 months old, emerson had 6 teeth and was cutting 3 more. my boobs were so raw from all the biting (i tried flicking his chin/cheek, stopping nursing right when he bit, saying "no!" - nothing worked). I gave up and weened him. I wasn't ready to give up on breastmilk though so i just pumped and then used bottles. c
sorry, hope it works out better for you! good luck!
I'm an advocate of the flicking the chin thing, too. Good luck!!
