For Valentine's Day we decided to eat out. We sure love watching Amulek grow up and eat solid foods.

And chew on chicken bones.

Play Date with Jackson

A friend of mine from work had a baby around the same time that I did. Therefore, Amulek and Jackson are good friends and like to play. Well, they mostly like to crawl over each other and bite each other. But they're good friends anyway.

The Park

Lately, we've been enjoying some strangely nice weather. We take advantage by going for walks, usually to the park. On our latest trip, Amulek discovered that loves the swings!

He did not, however, enjoy the slide!

Sewing 101

Friends + sewing = an excellent Saturday morning.

Last weekend my good friend Audrey invited me to tag along to her friend Tom's house. Tom taught us how to sew. That's right. Tom is a taylor. He showed us all sorts of clothes that he made for his wife and they are so cute! Tom taught us some basics like how to read a pattern, and how to work a sewing machine. We talked, laughed, ate jelly beans, and sewed!

Thanks Nana & Papa for the awesome Valentine's Day package you sent to us! Amulek loved opening his presents and thought his toys and book (and bows!) were so cool. I've been reading my magazines and we enjoyed watching our new movie as our date! We love you!

Hello Ladies

As I've said before, we love the mall. We usually end up there when we're looking for something fun to do. Our favorite stores include:

• Maceys (for the suits and the cologne)
• The Child's Place (for their sweet deals!)
• Forever 21 (for the music, jewelry, and amazing clothes)
• and the art gallery (we love the Christensen and Kincaid work the best).

A little bubbly

We gave Amulek a little taste of Sprite and for a long time after he just sat there giggling and laughing like some inebriated old man.

Whenever we eat something Amulek gets a little angry if we don't share. What mean parents we are.

The Stand and then The Fall

Poor little guy stood like this for almost 10 minutes while I was working on a project. I finally decided to get the camera because he had opened the atlas and was looking at it. But then gravity happened.

Happy Chinese New Year!

You know you're lucky when you have family that celebrates Chinese New Year with an awesome party, even though none of you are actually Chinese. Sam and Ashley hosted a wonderful party, complete with good food (thanks, everyone!), good decorations (thanks Abby and Ashley!) and awesome games (thanks Abby!)

We watched Kung Fu Panda 2, ate food, laughed at silly fortunes, had a puzzle contest, made pipe cleaner dragons, had a coloring competition, and more.

Amulek sure enjoyed playing with his cousin Amelia. They pulled each others hair, sat on one another, and Amulek tried to do a lot of biting. What am I going to do with that kid?

The amazing fish Ashley made that hung from the ceiling. One fish had a dragon inside and whomever got the dragon got a prize!

Dinner Time!

Amulek enjoys playing while dinner is being cooked. He crawls around the floor and explores. But once we sit down, he cries until we bring him to the table with us.

Last week we wanted to do a family activity before taking Lamoni to work so we headed over to the duck ponds. It was a bit cold, but the ducks were ravenous as usual and Amulek enjoyed it.
